Review: Short but Sweet!
Drove to West Bay Park for a change of pace. There is very smooth and very fast riding here. This is more of a mountain bike "track" than a trail system. It's small (maps say 9 miles but I could only find 6-7) I spent about 90 minutes here and hit several of the same trails several times, but I never got bored.
Note that this is shared use trail and there were many hikers, with children and dogs, out the day i visited....so ride cautiously.

Review: Great set of trails. Very well maintained and extremely fun. A great set of trails for those who want to get their blood pumping. Every individual trail is fun, and it's great cause no two trails are exactly alike. Each one has its own obstacles and feel. I encourage anyone to try it out. It's great for beginners to get a feel for mountain biking and for intermediate riders to hone their skills!

Review: Kudos to GROC for getting this park opened up to mountain biking. It's nice to have legal, well marked riding options in and close to Rochester. These trails are both of those.

As others have noted, these trails are not particularly advanced, though there are a few steep sections that can (briefly) test your technical climbing abilities.

It's noteworthy that, although there are technically 9 miles of trails, what you effectively have is one loop of about 3 miles that you can complete with one of 3 different branches (blue, red, orange trails), and there's relatively little to distinguish them from each other. Aside from that, there are a couple of short sections that lead out to trailheads, and that's about it. So this is a nice place to hit for an hour or so after work or any other time that your time is limited. But spend much more than that here and you're likely going to end up getting pretty bored with the repetitiveness of it.

Review: This park is aimed more towards the beginner or intermediate rider. The trails are very smooth and fast and are well maintained. However, the large number of hills provide a good workout. All logs and rock gardens are rideable and are avoidable. Overall it is a great park to just get out and catch some speed.

Review: Truthfully, I have NO idea how this trail is! The directions dropped us at the WRONG PARK! It had a map and looked like the same as the singletrack. So please go to Tyrone Park NOT the park by McGregor's.

Review: Well maintained trails with some fun climbs and rolling terrain. One thing, do NOT forget your bug spray as the Mosquitos are for real in June!

Review: Very nice little trail system near downtown Rochester. It's clear that the designers put some thought into maximizing the rideable terrain in a small space. There is a LOT more up and down than you would expect, with some extremely steep little pitches that are a real challenge. There are a few logs, but all are rideable. The trails have some great flow to them and can make for a couple fun hours.

Review: Pretty good ride. Short, but you can go back around and hit the other trails to get a decent ride in. Lots of switchbacks, and some steep technical climbs at some points, which is fun for me but some people don't like that kind of stuff.
