Review: There are a wide variety of trails here. Contact Lost Creek Bike Club on Facebook for group ride info.

Beware of rattle snakes and gila monsters if you ride with your dog. Bring your 100oz H20 bladder; it's crazy hot except in Winter.

As for the trails, Verrado sports some of the best technical trail in the region. Technical as in: in the four months I rode there I destroyed one frame

and put serious dings in two others, all from unplanned dismounts. Hard, sharp, steep steps occur in many places. There are some crazy sharp switchbacks, some great XC flow sections, and a jump or two, but the most technical segments include narrow, steep, rocky steps that navigate more like a boulder problem than a bike ride. This area reeks with potential, especially for night riding, and the builders at Lost Creek have really created a unique trail, testing a variety of skills, in a somewhat limited area. A smallish 27.5" bike is a good choice for these trails due to the tight rocky turns in places.
