Mountain Biking The bypass

  Add a review
#33 of 35 mountain bike trails in North Dakota
#21,950 in the world

I ride this as part of a loop. Start the Burlington trail in Burlington and ride towards minot. Just before the off ramp of the bypass you can follow the atv path to your left. Follow it all the way to hwy 83 north of town and then you can ride it back. Second option is to turn off on one of the gravel roads (see map on how to use them to get to 46th ave just before the big hill that drops you back into Burlington or just turn onto 46th Ave and head out towards the west and eventually you will drop down a decent hill back into the start of the Burlington trail. The trails also link into several trails that are paved and go into town and to oak Park. Everything but the gravel roads and the bypass path are paved sadly.

Getting there
Start either at oak Park in minot, following 4th ave towards the bypass. Or you can start the Burlington trail at the Burlington bridge on 4th if you followed it all the way out of minot.
