Typical NCT, follow the blue markers. The trail starts on a very steep climb with tight switchbacks. There are lots of climbs with equal downs. Upon reaching Krause Rd you can ride the Skyline trail which is well worth the extra mileage. It has some very steep bench cut single track with a spectacular view on the lookout. The ride back to Taylor Road is fast and flowy. The single track trail is 6 miles to Krause rd and another 2-3 to Brubaker rd where the NCT picks up on main roads from there.
