Review: Most trails are a little overgrown but still fun.

Review: Tapia is a good place for a variety of trails: sidewinder, g-out, top dog/dog tag, and kona. There are many side trails that can add to variety.

Review: I love Kona. Smooth and fast. Here is a aerial video I shot using a hexacopter and a Gopro camera. This is following several riders down Carl's trail.

Review: First off the directions listed are wrong. You take the Parker road exit, not Harley. Go right if coming from the south. (East). Make the first right and go about 1/2 mile to the sports center. This only used as a parking lot as Tapia Canyon road is the actual trail and trail head. It was first tIme there and I asked for directions as there are no markings. While you can ride up the many trails, most everyone was taking Tapia Canyon road about 5 miles up to the power line. At that point there are several choices, but everyone recommended Kona which was off to the left. Kona was a nice single track all the way back down. Total ride about an hour and worth the ride. I should also add there was a small amount of parking along side Tapia Canyon road as some people choose to park there. My first time on this trail and I enjoyed the rude.

Review: Sorry but this trail network shouldn't be listed as advanced. There are a few advanced trails but all of the main trails are quite intermediate. I am no pro or downhill junkie but this is a good place for beginners. This is where I always take first time riders as well as pro riders.
