Review: Just rode this trail in October 2018. Epic descent from 11,000 feet to the Pacific Ocean. Entirely desert riding with decent flow, some technical rocky sections and sandy areas to keep you alert. Stunning views the entire way. I just started mountain biking earlier this year, so I don't have much experience to compare this trail. Mostly intermediate trail, but I had to walk a few of the most technical rocky sections. It's a 5 hour shuttle from Lima, so be prepared for a long day. Smiling the whole way down, it was an epic ride.

Review: Rode this trail in 2014 and it's without a doubt the most amazing trail I have ever ridden and I can probably the one of the best trails in the world but I have read reports that it is no more and has been bulldozed to make way for a road. I hope it's not true because this would be a major loss to the mountain biking world

Review: This is still an amazing ride. There was a new rode built that is crossing the trail just a few times. If someone is looking for a professional guiding all over Peru look at Inkas Adventures

Review: Olleros is said as the best MTB trail on Earth. Peru Cycling organizes this bike trip with the best expert guides in town and top notch equipment and logistics. After 5 hours drive on 4WD support vehicle the departure spot at 3600m altitude on the Andes mountain tops is reached and begins a great downhill ride by singletrack leading down to the Pacífic Ocean shores. The operation costs of this Bike trip are not cheap but it is worth the great experience. See more details here

Review: I want to ride this trail but I don't want to pay hundreds of dollars for a guide. Can anyone tell me if it is relatively easy to follow? I would really appreciate any information anyone has on this ride. It's supposed to be one of the best downhills in the world. I can't seem to find a guide for a one day ride who won't charge me an exorbitant amount of money. I would like to go ride it on my own but I can't find a map.
