Review: Rode this trail last weekend (April 2 '17). I was getting off my bike every couple hundred meters for blown down trees. The trail is washed out in the switchbacks where you initially descend . My advice is to go over the washout as if you were continuing down the trail. That way is much easier than cutting down the switchback. The trail seems like it would be a lot of fun if I didn't have to get off my bike so often. I'll check it out later in the season.

Review: I rode this last summer when I was new to WA...more of a distance grind than fun....Not very well marked especially when it comes to crossing the river...I turned back at that point....Seems like more a horse trail that has never been embraced by the local bikers...Stay in Cap Forest and have some real fun....

Review: By far the most beautiful trail that I've ever been on. The forest service does and awesome job of maintaining this wonderful trail. It is well marked at all intersections and has nice bridges over all major water crossings. I wouldn't call it beginner friendly but very well worth the trip to the Olympics for a ride or hike.
