Q: Is this a good trail for begginers? -Guest

A: It is definitely the easiest intermediate trail in the charlotte area I would say. It is a step up from the green trails at lake norman (monbo, hawk, etc). It is slightly more challenging than the lake loop at white water center. There are a couple rock gardens/technical features that may present a challenge to beginners.

Q: Iv heard there is poison ivy on this trail in the summers is that true? -Daniel Lee Dault Jr.

A: Yes, there is lots of poison ivy, however, I've ridden it extensively during the summer months and have never had any problem with it. Just stay aware when you pull off the trail.

Review: Good trail, need to sweat to do all 11 miles. Mostly its intermediate with few black areas and some jumps. It's not for beginner (unless you rally confident with a bike) Had plenty of fun with my ~300$ hard trail :)

Review: Not the most technical, not the easiest, but probably the best trail in the Charlotte area. Tons of traffic of all skill levels on the weekends.
Take it easy if it's your first time.

Review: Sherman is a great trail. The main loop crosses the emergency road several times, making it easy to bale out early, if needed.

Review: My first time out at Sherman Branch while in Charlotte 5/11. I did the main (yellow) trail and highly recommend it to all who are in the area. I'll be back for more!

Review: Awesome place to ride. I'm a intermediate rider from West Virginia and this place blew everywhere I've ever rode back home out of the water. In single track anyway. Very flowy some rocky sections, man made obsticals and jump through out.

Review: As a novice, there were several areas on this trail that were out of my league but there was always an "easy out" which made them super enjoyable. High berms, really great flow, the uphill isn't too steep. My favorite trail I've ridden so far!
