Mountain Biking San Pedro House North Loop

This ride is the companion to the San Pedro House Pond trail. You start out the same way. From the parking lot head East on the trail going toward the river. But instead of turning right (South) you turn left (North). The singletrack trail goes under the bridge on Hwy 90 and follows the river North for about a mile and is very scenic. It ends at a small sandy wash. Turn left and ride up this wash for about one quarter mile. It's possible to ride this wash most of the way although the sand may force you to walk your bike in a few spots. It will intersect with the trail leading back to San Pedro House or to Murray Springs (see the San Pedro House to Murray Springs and Back trail).
For this ride turn left (South) to get back to the parking lot for to complete a nice 2 mile ride.

To get to the trail head at the San Pedro House from Bisbee take Hwy 80
North 9 miles to the junction with Hwy 90. Turn West towards Sierra Vista
and drive 7.5 miles. Just West of the river is a big sign on the left (South)
side for the San Pedro House and the San Pedro National Riparian Area.
There is a bookstore here with some trail supplies for sale. Also water,
shaded picnic tables and toilets are available. The GPS coordinates are
N_31-32.896 W_110-08.498. If you are coming from Tucson take Interstate
10 East for 37 miles then turn South on Hwy 92 to get to Sierra Vista then
Turn East on Hwy 90 and dtive 7 miles to get to San Pedro House.
