Trail Description
About this trail
This is not one trail but a network of several small trails. This is a VERY SMALL park..expect to do loops more than once. It has a varying degree of difficulty. This place is VERY ROCKY..hence Rockville Park. Some of the more rugged trails simply cant be ridden without dismounting due to huge rock gaps. Avoid the North slope side. What appears to be a trail is actually a dry creek! This cannot be will end up carrying your bike a long ways and muttering at your stupidity. Overall this is a fun place, good for those who wanna sharpen their rock hoppin skills

Review: I first visited Rockville in 1972, before the mountain bike was invented. It was a hiking park then and almost completely unknown. All the 'bike' trails are really cow trails. They haven't changed since I was a boy. I call this "Disney Land for Mountain Bikers" and the ride where you duck under into brush tunnel the "Pirates of the Caribbean". Physically not too challenging but technically it is. A great place to hone your skills.

Review: What can I say "Rockville Rocks". I am from the East Bay and have to drive for 30 minuets and pay a bridge toll. The time and effort is always worth it. I have a blast riding there and would recommend it to any level of rider. The park has trails that any level of Mtb rider could enjoy. I give it 5 inches of travel out of a 5 inch scale.

Review: Rode here for the first time the other day and I had an absolute blast! I was on my 26" motobecane fantom trail ds and it did just fine, a few pedal strikes and a few hike-a-bike sessions but overall no problem. I can't say that I would take my kids here yet, they had a great time at China camp but Rockville is a bit more advanced with bigger rocks and actual single track.
I recommend Rockville for anyone who is thinking about replacing their derailleur soon haha, plenty of opportunities to tear off your old one!

Review: This is where I learned to ride ~20 years ago. I've moved away and really miss it. There are all kinds of nooks and crannies with a lot of variety, and definitely plenty of rocks but if you're not comfortable picking your way through rocky sections there are smoother trails too. You need to do a little exploring to find the areas that you like most. The trails are all pretty short but you can still ride for a couple of hours and not repeat much.

Review: Well it's called Rockville, so it should be no surprise that it's rocky! Good place to develop your skills, lots of challenging sections to keep you entertained.

Review: Lots of trails, some technical rock areas but overall lots of fun! Park is small however even when the parking lot is full, you don't see many riders! Great views of Fairfield and Green Valley! Park usage fee of $3, not bad considering some are in the $8-$10 range just to park! Enjoy

Review: My favorite trail in the bay. You have to visit multiple times to really get to know the park. If you pick the right lines it's an advanced ride with anything from drops to jumps.

Review: I didn't get to see all of what we had planned due to a friends injury, our ride was cut short. What I rode was nice single track and I plan on a return trip soon.

Review: The trail is well maintained and in good condition. The trail is a good beginner/intermediate trail with only a few technical sections, virtually everything is rideable or can be walked if you are a rookie. The trail has lots of ups and downs so expect to do some climbing.

Like others have said, Rockville is a small park, you can't get lost easily, but you can get turned around. Find a trail map and put together different combinations of the short trails or ride in the opposite direction for variety.

Review: Very technical and short trails that requires a lot of different skills.
