This is an awesome trail. Start up the Tabeguache trail and about half a mile in cut off to the right onto Pet-A-Kes. The trail is a subtle climb over the course of about 2 miles. There are many rock gardens that provide for challenging maneuvers around and over them while keeping your pedals pumping. This trail has become my favorite in the area. Once you reach the top, hop onto High Noon -> Raven's Ridge -> Kurt's Lane for a fast and fairly technical descent back to the parking lot. This loop is only about 40 minutes or so but is a great after work ride. Watch out for hikers on the descent down, for the steep ledges and switchbacks make it easy not notice them coming up the trail.
For a different taste and much steeper climb, ride up Tabegauche trail 2.5 miles and cut back down Pet-A-Kes. Riding this trail downhill was an interesting way to take it in. After riding up it so many times, it was fun to take a different perspective of this outstanding singletrack.
