Trail Description
About this trail
Most riders ride from the parking area along Tower Road until you get just past the first bunch of tall towers. You will come upon a monument on the side of the road, trail takes off downhill to the left. The trail can be ridden fast or slow. There are several forks in the trail, always stay left. Lots of rocks and technical switchbacks. Eventually the trail will connect with the uphill Shooters trail. A left turn will take you back up a grueling clime to the parking area.

Review: Great singletrack with fun descents and short technical climbs - after the long climb to the top. Definitely run tubless and carry a spare. I rode a light trail hardtail with tubes and small block eights (big mistake) blew out both tires within the first 3 minutes. First section is very rocky and then it turns into fast and flowy.

Review: LOTS of chunk on this trail! Unless you're getting shuttled you'll have a two-plus mile climb but it's mostly paved so it's not too bad. Once you reach the national forest sign, the trail is to your left. The trail can definitely beat you up on the way down so have full suspension or take it a bit slow. Stick to the left at all the intersections and you're golden.

Review: Very rough downhill, tricky creek/gully crossings, awesome singel track to the connection with shooter and then up a grueling climb to the parking area. No stress remaining when your done!
