Review: Fun single track. Fast rolling for most of it. Nothing too technical.

Review: Word is the main parking lot will be open by the middle of June. Many trails are currently accessible on the opposite side of the park, where the water lets out of the dam. Great views and shaded trails are enjoyable.

Review: From what I understand, this trail used to be pretty well maintained, but not so much now. Seems to be extensive trails, but nothing is marked and everything away from the trailhead is overgrown.

Review: After riding the trail this morning I noticed that there was a sign at the trail head saying it was closed to cyclist for safety reasons due to flooding. The trail was definitely flooded in many areas severely limiting riding. Also allot of the trail was overgrown. So for the next month or so I would stay away.

Review: Nice fairly easy trail. Took daughters along ,saw turtles and other wildlife along the way. Only tuff part for them was climb back out since only entrance is through other side by dam.

Review: This park is really pretty nice! It is close to Temple and Belton. It is about 5 trails, all well marked. Not too much elevation gain or technical bits. You can ride for a few hours before you hit the same trails.

Review: I checked the park web site before leaving the house and was surprised to find the Miller Springs Park parking lot closed for construction. I crossed the dam and parked at Miller Springs Nature Reserve parking lot. I followed the directions posted on signs throughout the park to get back to the two authorized biking trail loops. I didn't see a split in the trail and ended up taking the hiking trail down. Not a big deal, but I'm glad my beginner son was not with me today. I spent an hour crisscrossing the park on the trails (marked with trail colors painted on rocks). When I'm looking for an easy ride (and the other parking lot is open) I'll be back to ride it again.
