About this trail
There's nothing special about this ride, but a good little spot to ride a couple of miles if you're coming back from the mountains and have had quite enough for the day. This is a network of about half a dozen short trails mostly singletrack. It climbs roughly 800 vertical feet and is all rideable.

Review: Good intermediate/beginner trail. Consistent climb leading to a fun downhill section. The hole trail system operates like a figure eight.

Review: There was more to this ride than I was expecting due to prior reviews. While the trails in the system are short compared to other rides in the area you can loop them so they can be connected to make a much longer ride. I liked that there were techy sections that had multiple lines and by looping the trail multiple times I was able to ride the same section more than once. This allowed me to try different lines and challenge myself. The climbs were steep and rocky enough to keep me from being bored and the downhill was fast with enough drops and rocky sections that it was worth looping to ride over again. Overall, a much better trail than I was expecting.

Review: Meyer Ranch is a fun ride if you are looking for something short. The lower loop is more crowded, but the upper loop and Old Ski Run are a lot of fun with some nice climbs and technical spots to mix things up. Plus, it doesn't get as crowded as other front range rides.

Review: Just got back from a quick ride. Some snow and ice on the trail making it a little more challenging. test yourself on the uphill and enjoy the ride down. Large path and gradually gets more technical. Worth the 30 min drive for me

Review: Right off 285 just east of conifer. This network of trails is a fun but very short network. It is flowy with some airtime opportunities but there is a lot of hikers. With it being so close to Conifer, with alot of hikers and so small I would not come here unless you want a short quickie ride and you live close to the park.

Review: As others have said, great for a quick couple of laps if pressed for time or just wanting a quick ride. Good little network of trails reasonably close to Denver. A few technical rock sections, but mostly just smooth trails. Biggest obstacle might be the hikers but don't let that stop you. I'd recommend riding the Lodgepole loop counterclockwise and the Old Ski Run clockwise.

Review: I don't know that it's a destination, but if you're driving by with your bike on your rack and an hour to spare, you should really ride this one.
Yeah, the first mile of trail is fully 10 feet wide, but as you get a bit higher it turns into a real singletrack, and up a bit higher it turns into a bit of a tricky singletrack. The climb/descent ratio was a very good value.
Too bad it's just so short. Nice shade, thick forest, wildlife.
If there was 2 or 3 times as much trail here as there is, it would be a great destination. But for sure keep it in mind as a drive-by quickie.
