Rode this trail today (7/18/14) for the first time in a couple years. It's a fun ride with a lot of very nice scenery, especially along the Hac-n-yac trail. I enjoyed the Turkey Run loop as well, but recommend beginning your ride by going west along the Lakeside trail and then coming back east along the top portion of Turkey Run so you will have a little more downhill. Overall the trail is fun, fairly well marked, and not too advanced in most parts. The biggest negative is the inordinate amount of exposed roots, made more prevalent because of erosion in some portions of the trail. And the roots tend to be exposed in the worst places, like at the top of a rise, making getting traction difficult. But overall the trail is a good ride and worth the time to ride it.
Note that there are some trail maps available online, but the one I found was out of date because it did not show the new loops and trail extensions.
