Rode April 2014. So, if you could Mountain Bike through "Jungle Book" downhill, this would be it ...minus Shere Khan and the rest. This place is lush rich green, the trail is a constant light tacky, yet packed, and full of roots-crazy roots sometimes, rocks of all sizes, natural places to get air, the switchbacks are tight and not easy, some you will have to dismount and I could just go on. Trail width varies. It's 1.5 miles to the picnic rest area, but I went all the way to the top. Just had too. Got mapped at 5.02 miles to the top and back down. The view was worth it. Multiple people on the trail stated that I could go to the top and ride, just watch for people and be respectful. There are stairs as you go to the top. So you'll get a hike/ride out of it. Check the photos and video if you like. One of the coolest trails that I have ever ridden hands down.
