The trail head is a small gravel road. The first short section says no bikes, but only a short walk til you get to where you can ride! Follow the trail to a wooden gate, go through the gate keep going til you get to a WWII Memorial, that looks like a church on the hill, neat to see all of the memorials! The part where you can start riding is on the trail just above a wooden covered bench, which you can see from the memorial. There are 3 ways to go, just go straight up past the bench, hard climb, but well worth the single track to come! It will be about a 2 mile climb and you will come up to the St. Martins bar/restaurant with an excellent view of Garmish and the Ski Stadium. The awesome singletrack starts just to the left and behind St. Martins. It keeps going up to a wooden bridge and a metal lookout point with dropoffs. The trail is narrow and rocky, so be very careful. The trail keeps going, but I don't know how far. The way down is a blast. Have fun and enjoy!
