Trail Description
About this trail
Kennedys Bush Track is neither in the bush nor a purpose built mountain bike track. It's an old four wheel drive track that connects the Summit Road to the Crocodile Track.
Coming down from the top it's very bumpy for the first kilometre, and then it mellows out and becomes a fast straight descent. After about 10 minutes you'll join the Crocodile Track which is bendy and interesting.
Going up it's a steep training ride - a way to get up to the action along the Summit Road. It comes out about two kilometres from the amazing Flying Nun Track.

Review: Kennedys Bush Track is a four wheel drive track over farmland. It has no particular merit as a mountain bike trail but it does provide access between Halswell and the trails along the Summit Road. It joins onto the Crocodile track at the bottom end. The top is not far along Summit Road from the magical Flying Nun Track.
