This trail is packed into a very small chunk of timber next to the fairgrounds, so the 4+ miles are tight and twisty. However, it is mostly clay, and not much of the trail gets sunlight, and to go in late May in Michigan is a bad mistake. Very slick in some spot, and loose and sticky in the other spots. When we first started at the trailhead, it didn't look like it had much traffic, and we soon found out why. This probably won't dry out until late June or so. For me to travel around an hour to ride, I would rather go somewhere else.
