Trail Description
About this trail
Tight singletrack through the woods around a 300 acre lake. Beautiful ride. Some small hills. A tight bridge and some log sections that you can go around if you choose. The Memphis area trail team cleaned this place up and added about a mile and a half. Trail is wide and clean with very little poison ivy now thanks to these folks. Not difficult. Go around twice.
Because it is an old TN state park, there is great parking, picnic tables, restrooms, and a bait shop to get a drink or ask questions.

Review: Rode the trail today. Green trail takes you mainly around the lake and is a very easy ride. If you are looking for a bit more then yellow and red trails are for you. Yellow and Red offer some small hills and obstacles you can negotiate if you choose. It was wet for a majority of the trail but totally doable. Great scenery and good place to improve your skills!

Review: Nice trail with good flow. A little hard to follow as leaves covered most of it. Saw a lot of other bikers and some hikers.

Review: I have biked Herb Parsons, Stanky Creek, and Tour De Wolf. I love Herb Parsons. You can bike fast or you can tackle it at a steady pace. The views are amazing and the obstacles can be rode by just about anyone.

Review: I really enjoyed this trail. It has everything from easy routes to some highly technical spots. Also, the scenery around the lake is beautiful with a few strategically placed benches.

Review: great trail system we did the outer loops, still have not rode the parts closer to the lake. the locals we rode with say that its 11 miles long by taking all the outer loops. we had a blast here, nice flow some techy areas, has some drops, and nice well built bridges. Drys out fast after a rain shower. This is a shared trail and everyone we came across was friendly,runners/hikers, dog walkers where all aware and moved over for all on bikes. Can't wait to get back here will be a monthly trip for us only 45 minutes away.
