A: The park is pretty small. The parking lot is at about 275' and the top of the park is just over 500'. If you hit every train in the park you'll be pretty close to 1,500'.

Review: Fun and easy trail in the hills of Petaluma. Plenty of ups and downs on dirt paths.

Review: Helen Putnam Regional Park offers a variety of terrain across 5.87 miles of trail. Excellent views of Petaluma to the east and rural Sonoma County to the west. But the park is simply just too small. So I give it only 2 stars.

Review: about a 2 mile loop, very short - nothing special, maybe good for someone who's never ridden before, or teaching a youngun. But if you ride regularly, I can't say this place is worth checking out, scenerey isnt to great either considering the other options.

Review: I don't know where they got 13 miles for the length of the park. Maybe if you ride around it 10 times or so. This is a good park to teach younger kids and people that are new to biking on dirt trails and single track how to handle that type of terrain. There is one figure 8 loop that is pretty fun but the park is small and very dry and hot in the summer time. I grew up in Petaluma so I have ridden these trails since I was about 10. It seemed a lot bigger then. I agree with the statement below. It is worth riding at least once and this is a great ride for an after work charge during the winter for locals.

Review: Just got back from the scout. All single track rolling hills lots of shade. Would be good for noobs to learn single track. No tech at all. some areas were beat by horse's but not far. Good training ride for locals with varied loops.

Similar Trail: Is alot like Delavega with small loops
