Trail Description
About this trail
This is a 5.4 mile route that starts in the meadow then climbs into the hills to the east and loops back to the ice rink. The trail was purpose built for the Colorado High School NICA race championship. MOst of the trail is non-technical, but it does have some technical spots including a tight switchback, sharp ups and downs, and finishes with a long series of bermed downhill switchbacks.

Review: Time to get your flow on! These are fast, flowy trails that wind through junipers at a fast clip. I was here riding for the CO XC state championships and the conditions were really amazing, however, i'm sure summer months will be dry, dusty and very hot. Trail finishes on the BMX pump/race track. Highly recommend hitting this network of trails.

Review: I didn't climb this from the meadow, but popped off Pool/Ice Rink to end the downhill on this trail. Super fun, some steeps, big built up berms, real fast. A blast to ride.

Review: Very easy singletrack that's great for beginners. Starts with a very mellow climb that becomes slightly more difficult as you go. Very few long climbs but you still end up with a fun downhill at the end.

Review: This is a great ride, that doesn't entail a ton of climbing. I tacked on after riding the boneyard climb and coming down ice rink/pool trail. The ride starts with a mellow meadow ride that makes for some beautiful views, then climbs a bit and leads to the steep bermed switchbacks which are a blast. Not very long, but pretty fun.

Review: This purpose built race course actually serves up some very fun singletrack. Be sure to take this one counterclockwise to maximize the fun factor. Most people think this one is worth it just for the last half mile where a series of 10 bermed, high speed switchbacks cranks up the giggle factor. the trail starts with some less than stellar meadow riding, but immediately gets interesting as you depart the meadow and begin climbing into the juniper covered hills. The climbs are mostly gradual and this is one of those trails where you feel like you're getting more than your fair share of fun for the work put in. Most of the singletrack is buff and swoopy, but there are a couple of optional obstacles, and there are a couple short, but steep downills and narrow places where the junipers will reach out and grab you if you're not careful. Overall, this is one of Eagle's best rides and a must stop if you're in the area. If you ride the Pool and Ice Rink Trail, this makes a nice add-on.
