As the name suggest, this one is a blast. Can be ridden both ways but is really designed for riding top down starting at the Wanoga sno-park. The first mile has quite a bit of big ring riding as it winds its way across a fairly flat plateau before it drops downhill. Large banked corners through the trees keep things exciting and as with any trail around Bend riders must always be ready for the ‘all of a sudden’ lava rock garden to pop up out of nowhere. Once this trail drops down the hill it is full of twists, turns, drops and several man made features. Most anything particularly challenging will have a ‘ride around’ option for those not comfortable with the challenge.
This trail terminates at an intersection with the Storm King and Tiddlywinks trails. One possible route is to ride up Tiddlywinks to the Wanoga sno-park and down Funner.

Main access is from the Wanoga Sno-park aprox. 14 miles West of Bend on highway 46 (Mt Bachelor highway). There are a couple trails leaving this parking lot, Funner is trail leaving the East end. at the far end of the pump track.
Can also be accessed from the Storm King trail near its intersection w/Highway 46.

Funner is Bend's playground trail. Loaded with small to moderate sized drops, skinnies, and flow. Keep pedaling and don't hold back as there's a designated uphill section for most of the trail (maybe all?)
| ThankI rode this going uphill after doing a loop of Tiddlywinks, Larsen's, Tyler's, and Storm King. It was a pretty chill climb as the grade is very mellow. Tough seeing all the berms, jumps, and handful of rock gardens going uphill. Made me think of what could have been.
| ThankI rode Funner in the non-preferred direction, after riding tiddlywinks.
As such, many of the berms are wasted as the are uphill.
| ThankDid the one-way downhill loop though - nice tech obstacles.
I loved this trail! It was refreshing to encounter some actual technical features thrown into the mix of the classic fast, flowy goodness that most of the trails in the area are known for!
| ThankAwesome. Great flow all the way down, lots of skinnies, and one of the few trails around with techy rock gardens and drops (2-3 ft, nothing scary). All obstacles are optional, so it's fine for intermediate riders as well.
| ThankGreat run to shuttle, or even connect into phils trail... primarily stormking. Start at Wanoga snow park, they just put up better signage so you can make sure where you are at. Some technical rock gardens, super fast and fun .
| ThankGreat ride for more advanced riders. Lots of rock obstacles, some with 2+ foot drops
| ThankThis is a fun short ride, good single track with smooth dirt surface with some rock sections. There are plenty of freeriding wood obsticles set up along the trail.
