Review: It saddens me that Devils Lake has such an amazing landscape yet offers little for mountain biking. The trails here are all wide trails. No single track to be found. With the elevation and landscape features they have at this park, its sad that a bike club or the park service hasnt worked to promote more mountain biking at this amazing place. Great for camping, swimming, hiking, and climbing, but not much to offer for mountain biking.

Review: It's scenic. It's a nice way to get up to the top of the bluff. It's technical only in that there's rocks and roots and some steep climbing; it's double track (or 8 foot wide path) the whole way. Otherwise there's lots of gravel that's kind of deep for about a third of the loop and most of the climb up to it and a section of the loop is on grass too. The back of the loop wasn't too bad, technical climbing and fast descents with rocks and roots, but still doubletrack. Did a race out here, it's a great race course but would only ride here otherwise for the workout or scenery as the trail itself isn't great.

Review: Lots of climbing and not a lot of technical features. Long and fast decends.

Review: The upland loop is a good climbing workout double track with lots of cobble and roots to pick a line though the fire lane is quartzite gravel so if you are worried about chips I wouldn't ride it.

Review: Fun, mostly double-track trail. Not technically challenging but the elevation changes will definitely give you a workout.
