Trail Description
About this trail
Mostly all two-tracks. Some single tracks. Not a lot of elevation change. Some of it is pretty sandy. Nice views as it winds around the river and there is a suspension bridge and a covered bridge. There is camping there (brought back memories from when I was a boy scout a long time ago). Probably good exercise if you live close, but not very challenging.

Review: I chose a 3 because its not single track most of the trail. But it is very scenic and really fun to ride.

Review: Definitely an entry level trail system as far as difficulty goes; but some really interesting and scenic portions that make this a great ride in my opinion. A lot of intersections so you can mix it up quite a bit out here; I typically just do a big loop around river and then do a few zigzags through some of the more single-track like trails. Overall, an easy and well maintained county park with lots of opportunities to check out the Chippewa River. Cheers.

Review: Deerfield Nature Park is an Isabella County run park. It's $6 for the entrance fee and probably not even worry that unless you toss one of the two Disc golf courses or are having a picnic. Wide Singletrack with hikers often using it. Too many intersections to keep track of a solid route until you know the trail system well enough. Nothing technical and portions are sandy. It is pretty fast but some portions of the trail arent firm. Not twisty or tight. The Wildwoods pathway runs through it and is the best trail for riding. Scenic at parts by the river. Unfortunate this is the only place to ride near CMU/Mt. Pleasant within 20 miles.
