Mountain Biking Cr 173

*   Add a review
#1,018 of 1,348 mountain bike trails in Colorado
#16,265 in the world

CR 173 is an old 4X4 road that runs up through the center of the trail system. It is very steep and loose and rocky in places, and is definitely not ideal to ride on. However, it is often very necessary for connecting up different sections of trails, so if you ride here often you better get used to it!

    Since the tougher trails in the system are only good as downhills, this makes a convenient if uninteresting way up, especially if you're going to do multiple laps. It's definitely steep enough to accelerate your heart rate.

    Not much fun to ride, but necessary to connect the various sections of trail.
