Q: When is hunting season? -Jeff Barber

A: Basically it starts October 1 and runs through Feb. 28. It is recommended to wear bright orange during hunting season. As always, Sunday hunting is not permitted. I have been out a few times and ran into hunters during seasons. All have been very nice and are fully aware that they share the area with mountain bikers and hikers (although not many).

Review: This trail system now has 6 miles of single track that is designed to be ridden in both directions totaling over 12 miles. We have a local group that has been working hard to build and maintain the trails. It is a great place to dial in your skills if you're a beginner to intermediate. There is "extra credit" features throughout the system if you look for them (kickers, hip jumps, gaps, and some larger jumps). Look up Hanover Mountain Bike Community on Facebook for more information. There are quite a few advanced riders that ride here for training ect. Everyone is very nice and courteous to all that come out.

As for the break ins, that guy has been arrested and is in jail. But always be careful about your personal belongings in your car.

Review: First time here. It was quite overgrown and not well maintained but still a fun ride.

Review: During the Spring/Summer it is very overgrown with plenty of thorny bushes and such. Also, full of cob webs and such due to lack of use during warm months. Highly recommend it in the winter though. Mostly relaxed trails with a few minor technical parts.

Review: The single track is decent, some roots and tree obstacles, just have to watch for the thorns its tight in some areas. Nice views around the lake, and a few small jumps here and there. I prefer the RH side from the parking lot the upper entry runs into trail 1 which is good, that will hit trail 2and loop you around. Wider snowmoble trails to the LH side, but some nice open down hill.

Review: The trial design is nice and there are plenty of intertwining loops. However, the trails are not clearly marked and the huge overgrowth is a real bummer. The trail would be really sweet of if were well maintained.
