Trail Description
About this trail
Carver Lake Park has 5 miles of intermediate level single-track trails. Start at the trailhead and head west. The terrain has a steep side slope in a several sections of the park allowing for a nice rolling flow to the trail. Other sections of the park are more flat with turns and open sky above. The trail will have loops allowing riders to ride a section more than once in a row or the whole system as one big loop. The trail will offer great views of Carver Lake and take you deep into the wooded areas of the park. The trail also passes an open field and a large nursery plot.

Review: An amazing trail with a mix of beginner and expert fetchers. I go about once a month in the summer and love it plus after your done riding you can go for a swim.

Review: Great park and trails, waterfall along one trail was pretty cool to hear the sound riding by. The trail suits families well because it is smooth and has flow that keeps everyone moving without too challenging of ascent. The trail is also an enjoyable ride for more advanced and experienced riders because there is plenty of opportunities to build up speed and turn and easy trail into a challenging. Also there are plenty of technical features to ride over and challenge riders.

Review: Fun single-track convenient to where I live! Never too far from the parking lot which helps in the event of a malfunction

Review: Mostly consists of a flowing, easy trail with roots and rocks. There are some more intermediate trails, and some intermediate features off to the side.

Review: If you want a perfect ribbon of XC singletrack you need to come to Carver. It's 4-1/2 miles of XC bliss, beautiful & flowy well-maincured singletrack that once you complete you'll want to repeat 2-3 times. Lots of fun optional features so you can Strava a lap and then session and instagram tricks on another lap. It's beautiful too (we went on a perfect fall day so I might be biased.) No big climbs so you can bring the kids for a ride, bring the fat bike, the singlespeed, the rigid bike, etc. The park itself has fishing, a beach, picnics, an awesome bike path and a playground so if you're visiting the Twin Cities with non-riding guests they can do something else (or there's tons of shopping like 5 minutes from here...) My only gripe is there's not like 15 miles of this sweet XC trail, but they've done so much with what they have no need to knock them down for it.

Review: Very Fun Trail with lots of Flow but still some fun technical features. An idea for some fun new features would be to build a few teeter totters but overall great trail, best in the twin cities.

Review: Fun Trail with lots of options; easy enough for a beginner but also lots of opportunities for more technical rides. Good for a quick ride or longer if you take the loop multiple times.

Review: Great trail system over in the eastern side of the Twin City metro. Fun trails with a nice mix of flowy and technical styles. Very rideable for newbies on up. Really enjoy the skills park area too. Takes me about a half hour to get there and it's worth the drive. Also open in the winter for some good riding!
