If you want a perfect ribbon of XC singletrack you need to come to Carver. It's 4-1/2 miles of XC bliss, beautiful & flowy well-maincured singletrack that once you complete you'll want to repeat 2-3 times. Lots of fun optional features so you can Strava a lap and then session and instagram tricks on another lap. It's beautiful too (we went on a perfect fall day so I might be biased.) No big climbs so you can bring the kids for a ride, bring the fat bike, the singlespeed, the rigid bike, etc. The park itself has fishing, a beach, picnics, an awesome bike path and a playground so if you're visiting the Twin Cities with non-riding guests they can do something else (or there's tons of shopping like 5 minutes from here...)
My only gripe is there's not like 15 miles of this sweet XC trail, but they've done so much with what they have no need to knock them down for it.
