Mountain Biking Burnt Wagon

  Add a review
#368 of 389 mountain bike trails in Wisconsin
#32,170 in the world

If you want to go deep into Wisconsin Lake Country, this is certainly one of the best trails to do so. The predominately smooth tread rolls up and down small climbs and descents as it slowly circumnavigated the picturesque Burnt Wagon Lake. To add to that, the easy-going singletrack is punctuated by bermed descents and sections like "Superbowl" and "The Matterhorn" that will be sure to draw riders' eyes from the surrounding forest every once and a while.

Getting there
From the parking lot at Hickory Ridge, turn left and take Puma Playground onto the Horseshoe Lake Trail. Follow it all the way to a connector trail going to the Burnt Wagon Connector. Then take that. Once you're on the Burnt Wagon Connector, going either way will get you to the trail. Even if you miss the connector off of Horseshoe Lake Trail, continuing on Horseshoe Lake Trail will still get you to Burnt Wagon.(it just takes a little longer).
