If you haven't been here, ride it the first couple times with someone who knows the trail - no signage and tons of trail mean you can easily get turned around. A group of dedicated riders meets every Tuesday and Thursday at 6 pm (as of summer 2015) and are very welcoming to those hoping to tag along and learn the ins and outs of Burns Rd.
Some sections see little use and are thus overgrown or still very rough, but the well-used sections are awesome! Very tight and technical, Burns Rd will definitely make you a better rider. My favorites are the Verity Creek loop (nice trail along a creek ravine that crosses the creek at each end) and the Stubway (another section along a creek ravine with many shorts ascents and descents and a few plank bridges). There's enough trail out here to keep one exploring and finding new loops for an entire summer. The bugs can be pretty bad in early summer, but by mid-July they usually seem to die down.
