Trail Description
About this trail
Much of this trail is classic Pisgah singletrack, complete with gnar and creek crossings, but some of it also runs along old road beds, making those sections not nearly as intimidating.

This trail is 2 miles one-way, and can be combined with nearby trails, such as the Avery Creek trail, to make a larger loop.

Review: This is either a gradual descent or an enjoyable climb, it is a good way to connect to other trails. It is very tame with no obstacles and a little bit sandy so despite it being smooth you can't carry too much speed going down.

Review: Cool trail just techy enough, with limited hike-a-bike sections, mainly if you want to avoid the creek crossings, when they are too deep. I road this in the DH direction, while leaf covered after rain the previous day. Some of the obstacles are probably walkers for most riders in the Uphill direction, particularly the log steps. Review: The section coming from the top of clawhammer and black is a nice easy alternative to riding black down - if you are tired or on a cx bike. Fast and easy.

Review: Great ride, lots of ways to tie into other trails and make it a longer ride.

Review: Still Pisgah-tough, but not as tough as the rest of Pisgah. Might be a blue by Pisgah standards, but by most other places it's still a black.
