Review: Blackbird State Forest is a multi use area. It has probably less than 10 miles of trails and is frequented by hikers, horseback riders, hunters (during seasons), and bikers. There is very little elevation change as well.

There are two loops that make up the park, Blue and Yellow. The blue loop is about 4.5 miles and the yellow is 2 miles. The trails are pretty wide and some have a bit of crushed gravel on them.

Although I wouldn't make Blackbird State Forest a destination for mountain biking being that it is a couple miles from my house where I can ride some dirt it is not that bad. You can get pretty fast on the trails because of how wide they get and there are a couple of bridge crossings. It may also be a good place to run the fat bike if we get some snow in the winter.
