Trail Description
About this trail
Coming into the park entrance, go past Lee Cabin on your left. Once past the cabin look for the trail head kiosk, enter trail on trail #3 and follow signs to the other various trials. Loop #6 is my favorite, but trail number 4 is a nice easy climb out and back, with a downhill on the way back. After the intersection of #3 and #4, there are about 5 new bridges over creeks that are not technical, but have a lip on the front and some are back to back. It is very obvious to an out of towner like me that this park is the future of mountain biking in Peoria. This is where they hold a majority of PAMBA workdays and group rides. If only there was a campground somewhere close.

Review: As a new mountain biker I found it fairly challenging on trail #3 but made it through dirt was very packed some tree roots sticking up,small Jumps and bridges made for a very fun ride will definitely visit again real soon! Place seems to be very maintained and very clean seen no garbage nice way to get out and explorer.

Review: Bridges, bridges, and more bridges. This is a very well laid out trail system. My only complaint is the number of low hangers. I'm 6'5" and 4-5 of them are impossible to ride under. Several of those, as well as a couple of fallen trees over the trail appeared to be accidental, which was strange since the trail was otherwise well maintained. I'd rate this trail more technical than fast and flowy, and I left with the thought that it would probably be more fun the 4th or 5th time you ride it so you'd know the trail better.

Review: Generally well maintained except when flooding took out bridges. Variety of drops and climbs with some logs. Good for beginners and intermediate riders.

Review: Decent trail, simple and easy. You should only ride these if you are just starting out. When I was there, all the bridges except a few were washed out which made that section absolutly miserable.

Review: Love this Trail. Trails 3,5,7 are my favorites. 3 has all the bridges and 7 is the longest. currently, it is one of the more "kept up" trails in the Peoria area.

Similar Trail: Farmdale or Wildlife Prairie S.P.

Review: This is a fast pace trail with a lot of bridges on the bottom portion. PAMBA does a great job of maintaining this trail.

Review: raced here once at a xc race event. trails are very techy. the trails aren't very long, but what there is is very techy and challenging. the single track is tight and switchbacks are abundant. and there is a good amount of elevation change especially for illinois. this was a 3 hr drive from chicago, but the trails are very nice in comparison to what we have there.

Similar Trail: very similar to saw wee kee park in oswego, il

Review: Very nice park! I was lucky enough to show up after they had an event there. There were orange arrows spray painted on the dirt and I went from curious and confused, to instant gratification, just following the arrows.

Similar Trail: Farmdale, Castlewood State Park(MO), Rangeline(IN), Klondike(MO)
