Trail Description
About this trail
There's a few miles of flat singletrack here. There's a loop that goes around the edge of the property and a few side trails here and there. Always be looking for singletracks taking off here and there. Once you find them all, you can construct a good loop of about 2 - 2.5 miles, mostly singletrack. This is North Dakota, so don't expect any climbs or technical challenges. The good thing is that the area is heavily wooded, so it can be relatively cool int he summer.

Review: Actually there's more than 2 miles. Look like it has been added more trails. There's a trail which you will feel like forever and lost sense of direction when you are focus on endless sharp curves. Hat off to people who build this trails.

Review: mile for mile my favorite mountain bike trail in North Dakota (Challenge Trails only) This trial has been reestablished since the 2011 flood and continues to be added to. There are over 5 miles of complete trail, some were intended to be slow and technical (prior to riders creating shortcuts and moving log crossings) and pieces intended to be fast and flowy. This trail is unlike any trail in North Dakota. I hope all North Dakotans give this trial a chance.

Review: The main trail is only just over 2 miles, but had multiple challenge trails that branch off. You can make multiple routes with these. Close enough to town that you can ride and get home in a reasonable time.

Review: This trail is pretty fun. This flat trail cuts through woods with a bridge and some tight corners. The main loop was around 3 miles with a lot of off shoots. The trail is down by KOA. Ignore the location on this site it is way off and will put you in a corn field.

Review: Great if you like to go fast. Pretty smooth with some slight up hills with a few short Ascents/decent so you'll be shifting quite a bit. There are a few rooty/sandy/ rocky sections that don't present much of any trouble for beginners. Like I said it's fun if you're looking to go fast and want to ride among trees. Most trails around this area are open hilly terrain. I like the trees and like to go fast so this is a favorite.

Review: This is my first trail ride. Some mud, sand, dirt and rocks. Small hills. Easy ride for the first timer. There a tree a one point, that across the trail. There are other trails that branch off, for a more challenging ride. I will return again. Had a great time.

Review: Bison Plant is the closest trail to Minot but it provides for a great ride. There is doubletrack that makes its way around the entire perimeter of the property, from the doubletrack, singletrack trails branch off and provide for a more technical and interesting ride. Aside from the trails there are also gravel roads within the park that provide for more mileage if that is what your looking for. This season a small bridge was installed on a portion of the singletrack and a narrow wood table to ride.

Review: I rode this trail with my dad and he doesn't mountain bike, and he had no trouble. This trail does has trees that were about as wide as my handle bars.
