Trail Description
About this trail
Bishop's Rock is more like a mountain bike playground than an actual trail. Sure, there's a singletrack trail that climbs up to the top of the rock and an easy singletrack route down, but for the most part it's a choose-your-own-adventure affair.

This domed rock is home to some crazy-cool rock features that are really rideable, including rock berms, rollers, drops, gaps, and much, much more. Come on out, bring all your suspension, and explore!

Review: Honestly it is not great. There is no defined trail system once you enter the rocks. It looks like people have tried to define the trail with stacked rocks and tree branches, but that only goes so far. The entrance is visible and inviting. Once inside the rocks it becomes increasing difficult to navigate to an exit. Also!!!! --> WATCH YOUR SPEED. its easy to get sucked into the allure of ripping through the rocks and trees. But there are grave penalties for mis-steps here. All-in-all it wasn't great, and is need of serious trail love.
OH! And it is NOT 6 Miles. its 1.6 Miles

Review: This place is, quite literally, an MTB playground!! Don't come here to log long miles, but do come here to play on your bike and explore the myriad of natural rock features in this unique riding area. A must-hit if you dig technical riding and you're anywhere near Del Norte!

Review: Definately a thrill. This area is a bike park made by God himself. All the stunts are natural. When I ride it again, i'll bring a full suspension bike, (since the rock chatter will scrub speed on a hardtail) and probably knee and elbow pads. There is a completely safe passage, which is called a trail, and it runs between all the volcanically made stunts, but if you're out there and you've got your bike, and you've got your balls...whatdya gonna do?...go big!! This place rocks!!
