Trail Description
About this trail
Trail 1 is the main multiple use loop around the property. It is a 5.1 mile loop of mostly single track, with a lot of twists and turns, also a good amount of ascends and descents. There are multiple technical rocky areas threw out the trail; Most of which are marked with signs. Along the way you will encounter some bridges, views, and a tree ride here and there. There are also multiple short cut along the way as well.

Trail 4 and 5 provide a wider smoother option but do cut out some mileage. Trail 3 also cuts out some mileage but is a tight rocky trail. Trail 6 is a option to skip out of some switchbacks but beware it is rocky. Trail 8a,8b,and 8c are out expert trails with lots of rocks and steep descents. All of our trails are intermediate/expert,non directional,multi-use trails. So be alert and polite to others. For a quick beverage or a bit to eat, be sure to stop in to Trails End cafe or the Grille.Located in our hotel.

Review: Rode there for the first time last week. I have herd cool things about this place and it pretty much lived up to it. I ride it backwards( clockwise if your in the parking lot facing the hotel.) Trust me it only makes a difference on one part. There is a single track grass hill that u can't climb. You can't see the start if you park . But it's in the back of the parking lot, it is rocky but it's mountain bike riding. Couple of hard climbs but nothing to crazy. I ride French creek and blue marsh and the climbs there are worse. I rode after a snow o it was wet. .can't wait to go there when it's dry. Oh well back to French creek tomorrow.

Review: Great technical trail. I have good pro/intermediate gear full suspension bike and this trial is a challenge at times (accending) and brutal at others (Large rock - rock gardens on decend). I would say at my intermediate level it is safe to ride the left side trail up and back down for a good workout with no dismounts. I will continue to try this full loop in a counter clockwise direction until i am comfortable with the decent on the right side as my skills progress. The last few years the USA Cycling National Mountain Bike Championships have been held at Bear Creek as a testimate to how technical the trail system is.

Review: On the climb up on the left side of the mountain, the trail is smooth but steep, with some rock gardens and a couple of skinnies and bridges. On the way down, the trails start to get brutal, with some drops, skinny crossings, and a bunch of rocks to maneuver around. Overall a good ride.

Review: Rocky a lot of the way. Hills with rocks. I found it difficult but I am not a pro. Very challaging. Had to walk bike a good bit. I give it a very high rating though. If you like rocks and hills you will love this loop
