This bike is an awesome beginner bike. No expensive components, although a drawback, means you can use and abuse this bike while you learn and not feel guilty about scratching it. The frame is durable and plenty snappy to make any trail enjoyable. This bike wont do you as many favors as a $5000 bike, but it definitely wont hold you back.ProsDurable

I would recommend this bike. But be aware, once you get it, you will want to make several quick upgrades to make it a smoother ride.ProsPrice. My entry bike into mountain biking. Serves as a nice XC/Trail hardtail or a bike to ride gently while with your family.ConsHorrible stock SR Suntour XCR fork, Should be updated quickly. Head tube angle of 71 degrees is too steep for any serious fun.
I converted mine to rigid with a PRO carbon fork. It was a good bikeProsGreat cross country geo, light, eccentric pinch bolt BBConsRS Recon is a bit heavy
The fork is not as responsive as a rigid carbon. Once there is a load on it it pretty much just stays there. If you are riding smooth packed flat trails then this is the bike for you. For a little higher price point just buy something in the Fuse line.
I have been riding for 25 years and have had expensive full suspension bikes. This is my favorite bike that I have had, 29" rims are awesome and makes a handling and control difference over 26" and rolls over things with ease. Great bike for the money! I got the 2015 on labor day weekend on sale for $630 with no sales tax(unfortunately the blue and neon green color scheme) but I took some stickers off and got it dirty and it is growing on me. Love it
Pros Light weight, great geometry, low cost, good components,
Pros Hi,
May i ask you?
I have bought brand new one, and during the testing i noticed that there is some shaking during the wheel spinning.
Seller told me that it is fine, could you check on your bicycle as well?
Pros Affordable, durable, and capable. This bike has seen it all from cross country to downhill, and is still going strong. The components are the perfect blend and have performed flawlessly.
YesProsGood solid entry level bikeConsThat Specialized couldn't be bothered to install a gear shifter representing the 2x9 gear configuration.
Using "1 . 3" off the 27 gear models is just lazy, and shows lack of detail
Thank |Don't use as rental
Pros
Favorable customer feedback if we can set up without breaking something
Cons
Thank |terrible for rentals - too many seat adjustment problems. always in repair

Good bike if your not into bumpy trails or pump tracks.
Pros
Priced well. I got mine for $600 from Bikes and Moore in Hopkinsville, KY. Rides well and not overly heavy. Good grips, derailers, and bars.
Cons
Thank |The SR shock is garage. I had to adjust it to the max and it still bottomed out on me and I'm only 195 lbs. First thing to go get replaced.

Pros
The bike rides well, the geometry feels great for my 6 foot frame. Handles all kinds of terrain without issue. Hydraulic brakes are awesome!
