Rider questions

Q: can i use these 2.25" tires as replacement for my schwalbe rapid rob 2.1" tires

Q: I have a set of Rapid Rob tires, I got a flat and wanted to replace the tube. I can not get that tire off the rim no matter what. I've removed many tires off of rims in my 33 years of riding bikes. I don't want to destroy the rim with screwdrivers, etc. Anybody else had this problem?

Lean into corners to hook up edge knobs or you'll be on the turf. Feels like it's going to break free until very edge bites. Wet roots and rocks for advanced riders only.

Very fast!! Carry speed well, even on 26s. Set up well tubeless, so I don't have to deal with punctures. Great on hard pack, dry, loamy. Reasonably priced. Mostly truer to size.

Wear fast. Suicide in mud. Sketchy in corners.

i used these for 3 months on and off road
rear tire is nearly slick and had about 12 punctures in all just from the road travel so i grew tired of them and west and bought a pair of dsi bigoot tyres its been 6 months now and i only had 3 punctures and the grip still looks pretty new

    little puncture protection
    lots of grip

    sidewalls rip easily
poor mileage (really if u intend to buy this tyre AVOID THE ROADS)

Rolls fast, good on hardpack, sand, gravel, and tracks good. I have about 750 miles on them and there is still probably another 500 - 750 left.

Could use a little better mud traction.

This tire sucks, after about 100 miles my rear crapped out on me. It collapses multiple times during a 10 mile ride (and yes I changed the pressure), and I am riding in the midwest ie nothing crazy, no drops and big rocks are rare. Don't buy! and sorry if it comes on your new bike like it did mine, start looking for a replacement.

not slow rolling... not fast either though

bad material, I don't like the thread

These tires came on my Scott Aspect trail 29er. The one on the rear blew out because of operator error. However the front is still good. I wet sand it does tend to throw sand in my face so I got a frame mud guard. Confident in the traction on the single track and on the paved trails.

Rolls fast, good on hardpack, sand, gravel, and tracks good. And it will let you know when you are about to lose traction.

    None so far
