Good tire for flowy trails. Get thicker sidewalls for the gnar.

    Pros
Can be found pretty cheap in this casing -around $35.
    Very grippy.
Excellent treadwear on singletrack compared to other tires I have had.
    Good mud shedding.
    Tight fit for tubeless.

    Cons
Casing was pretty poor. I had the lowest model so I guess that's expected but moderate trails with rocks ate up the sidewalls long before the tread wore out. I think for my build (190lbs) and riding conditions ( random sized rocks sticking out of the dirt) I need a better cased tire with higher tpi and more layers.

I love this tire. Grips, rolls, and gives great control up and down. If only it lasted longer. Was worn through after just 6 months of regular riding.

    Pros
    - One of the best gripping tires out there
    - Rolls well with feeling heavy

    Cons
    - Wears very quickly
    - Expensive

I would run these tires hard for a season but thats about it. They grip well however when the side knobs begin to peel off, traction drops off.

    Pros
    Grippy
Great in all new england conditions
    Beefy sidewall protection

    Cons
    Knobs tear away
sidewalls begin to leak after a few months with sealant

The cons I listed are all to be expected with an aggressive tire like this. I love this as a front tire with a ralph in back. Super easy tubeless setup with a floor pump on tubeless ready rims. The 2.35 width tire is a fat sucker! Seems to be holding up well on summertime singletrack.

    Pros
    Traction
    WIDTH
    Easy tubeless setup
    Snakeskin sidewall

    Cons
    A little heavy
    Pricey
    Roll resistance

I'm pleased with the tire but I think I'll try the stickier compound next go around.

    Pros
    Price
    Looks
    Rolls nicely
Grip on everything except rocks wet or dry compared to the Maxxis Minion Super Tacky which isn't a fair comparison.

    Cons
    See above

These are great GNAR tires, durable and fat, the side lugs started falling off after a few months and did not like cold weather. But overall, I will buy again.

    Pros
    Traction forever, durable,

    Cons
rolling resistance, price, the side lugs will fall off fairly quickly compared to others, especially in the subzero temps

great tire if you have the coin to buy them.

    Pros
Grips well in multiple conditions, I think they excel in loose over hardpack. They also come in trail star and pace star compounds (softer and harder). I recommend Trailstar on front and pace star on rear.

    Cons
Price, Trailstar on rear wears quickly

Highly recommend for the front tire even if you run a different tire in the rear. Works tubeless as well. Increased my speed in the turns and well worth the weight trade-off.

    Pros
    Tremendous traction, especially in turns.
    Very durable and tough sidewalls.

    Cons
    Heavy and pricey.

These puppies handle really well in all conditions and circumstances inspiring great confidence especially carving through turns. There is some roll resistance, but as a long time Nevegal rider, I notice less drag with the Hans Dampf. They are pricey, but you do get what you pay for and these suckers are the creme de le creme of all mountain tires.

    Pros
Incredible traction in all conditions, very durable, confidence inspiring, less drag than others in its class.

    Cons
EXPENSIVE!!! A little heavy, but good compared to others in its class.

Hands down the best all around tire I have ridden! edit: After riding these tires for almost 3 years, I finally need a new tire for the rear.

    Pros
Thick sidewalls, huge amounts of grip, and killer looks without sacrificing too much rolling resistance. I passed several riders at Moab that had flats. I continued on with the assurance that my tires would not fail me.

    Cons
Weight weenies beware! The price is a bit steep as well.

Super grippy tires great on hard pack. Mud. Can't wait to try them out in some snow. Strong sidewalls I'm running them tubeless with no flats do far. They just look freaking cool to boot

    Pros
    Grippy tough light
