    Pros
Small form factor. Video quality is good.

    Cons
Difficult to use. The waterproof case is a hassle whenever you need to change a card or plug it into the computer. The button interface, while simple, tries to do too much. Tough to know exactly what is happening with the camera which leads to frequent buddy checks--is it on?

There are newer, better versions of this camera today but I would still recommend it to anybody in the market for a sweet HD video camera. Go get one and become a youtube sensation now!

    Pros
    -Records great HD footage
    -Tons of cool mounting options
-Makes you want to ride harder and try new things to capture it on video

    Cons
-Navigating the menu takes some time to learn

I bought the Hero2 and have not been able to stop using it. I just use Windows Movie Maker for my movies, but they turn out great. I have attached this thing to everything from jeep to mt. bike, even a Kart racing cart.

    Pros
Very simple to use, and some how gets rid of the bumps and vibration from trails.

    Cons
Makes me ride more and my body won't take as much abuse as the camera

I got the 960 HD by Go Pro as I am just sharing videos with friends and Youtube. This is an excellent camera and almost no noticeable difference between this and 1080. Simple operation albeit tiny display. I play this on a 52" HD TV and you feel like your on the trail! Love this camera. Bought an additional helmet mount and bar mount. Have mounted it everywhere from a ski pole to the seat post to a kayak! Waterproof indestructible case is awesome. Even comes with a vented back for better sound. Like stated in a previous review, just dub over sound with music. If you want to make ride videos or just show your friends and family what it looks like to ride, you can do it with this camera. And from just about any view or angle!

    Pros
    Great HD video
    Playback right to your tv
    Easy on/off operation
    Waterproof
    Compact
    Indestructible case
    almost unlimited mounting options

    Cons
    Poor sound
    Battery could last longer
Need large High Speed card for best results
    Sound quality stinks

The vented helmet mount is very secure once you add the rubber gasket. I was very impressed with the sound quality and lack of wind noise even at speeds of 20+ miles per hour. Use and downloading videos is simple. Editting requires software that is not normally included with your laptop. About $100 gets awesome editing software.

    Pros
    Great video quality. Lightweight.

    Cons
Editing software requirements. Makes huge hills look flat.

This camera is so easy to set up and use. The number of mountain options in different places on your bike, helmet, and elsewhere (chestmount etc) is incredible! I love using this camer!

    Pros
Super easy to use, water proof, high quality video, and a ton of mountain options!

    Cons
Not HD, and eats through batteries like nobodies business.

I would but this in a heartbeat! I highly recommend it. Easy to use and a great value for the quality of video you get.

    Pros
Best action cam ever! That's why the chilean mine rescuers used it video the rescues. Video is awesome and clear. This is not even the HD model!

    Cons
sound poor due to waterproof case. The waterproof aspect is WAY more important though. Getting stuck in Palo Duro canyon in the rain helped me see the value in that.

Definitely a fun gizmo that makes me want to revisit my favorite trails even more often!

    Pros
I am not a "techy" at all, but this thing was extremely simple for me to use and produce excellent videos with on the first try. All I had to do when I got home was plug the SD card into my Mac and everything was there for me to see and manipulate. I see earlier reviews complaining about clarity, but those must be of the non-HD model; I have the HD one and everything came out crystal clear.

Being able to mount it to my helmet, seatpost and front fork with the accessory kit was definitely a bonus -- I've already got all kinds of ideas of things to try out next.

    Cons
The beep that tells you it's on needs to be louder, because when you have it on your helmet or fork and can't see the LCD screen, ambient noise easily obscures the beep.

Wish the packaging made it clear you need to purchase an 8GB SD card separately if you want to take full advantage of the battery length.

Good camera but get the high def one if you have the money. bigger cards excepted and higher quality video

    Pros
Good video for the price wish they had high def one when i bought this one.

    Cons
Sound quality is not great because of the waterproof housing which you need for mounting purposes.only takes 2GB cards

I love it - I have used it MTBing, on a go-kart, on a zipline in Costa Rica, rafting thru the Royal Gorge, and on my road bike.

    Pros
I actually think the image quality is pretty good. Super durable and waterproof, very easy to use.

    Cons
The only way to know if the unit is on is from the small front LCD display - they need some type of light on the back of the unit also. If this is helmet-mounted this is a moot point.

Do not expect decent video. It is grainy even in bright daylight, get into the shade and you'll see noise immediately. I would compare it to my 6 year old 2mp Nikon 2100 in video clarity. Fisheye lens is awesome. Water proof housing works! (I dunked mine in a bucket of water and found no leaks.) I had higher expectations looking at the GoPro's sample vids, talk about false advertising!
I am still keeping it though because for its price and the purpose I am using it for, nothing beats it.

    Pros
    Water proof housing
    Light weight
Almost endless ways of mounting it.
Stable images. It almost makes you think it has image stabilization.
Great built-in option to muffle mic
    Decent fisheye lens.
Built-in image flip option=right side up picture while on an upside down position.

    Cons
    Poor image/video playback
    LCD is way too small.
Icons on LCD is barely readable.
    Battery hog

This thing is great. On the first trip out I smacked an overhanging branch with it going down hill, nearly de-seated me. I was scared to look but the camera didn't even have a scratch on it.

    Pros
Amazingly small! The mounts are great and versatile. Tough!!! Video quality is very good.

Awesome cam. I originally bought it for surfing and then strapped it to my helmet for MTB and the rest is history. Super easy to use, just need to spend some time getting the right angle depending on where you mount it. Great gift for anyone involved in outdoors activities.

    Pros
Compact size. No need for cables and runs on removable 2GB SD card. Can be downloaded and edited on any computer. Allows you to mount it upside down so you can tuck it under your seat for a different perspective.

    Cons
Batteries last little more than an hour at a time. Don;t bother with sound just place a music overlay.

For the price and all it comes with, it's hard to get too picky. I would and have recommended this camera to all my outdoor friends.

    Pros
I love how small this little guy is, the fact that it comes with a waterproof case, multiple mounts and cables to hook it up to your computer.

    Cons
The sound is horrible and if you don't have the camera angle set up correctly, you won't find out until you get hooked up to a computer. Not good it have it set wrong.
