If you find one for less than 60 bucks jump on it. Riding a 26 inch hardtail with v brakes will bring back all the 90's nostalgia.

Fun as hell. Easy to throw around. Light. Cheap. 3x8 drivetrain gives you 24 speeds to get you up or down whatever you need. Decent granny gear and a nice fast descent gear and all the ones in between.

Brakes. I'm spoiled by hydraulic disc brakes on my hardtail (2017 fuji nevada) so riding this one which I got for my wife is a little scary. They'll stop you but don't expect to lock the wheels up in the mud.
Not a pro or a con but 26 inch wheels are getting harder and harder to find. Managed to score a set of disc wheels so an upgrade is coming very soon (hurry up FedEx) crankset and bb are square taper so upgrade those as soon as the old one breaks. Don't even bother looking for high-end replacements. They don't exist. 1x isn't really an option without upgrading the cassette and mech at the back. It's possible but not worth the money IMHO.

    - Light weight.
    - This is a higher end entry level trail bike. The component group is average and leaves one plenty of room for upgrades to make this entry level bike a really nice trail bike.

    - inexpensive component group.

this is the bike best for beginners and suit you for everyday use but don't go extreme unless you upgrade some parts.

this bike is light on weight and also in price. good for everyday use.The geometry is fit for me.

tiny handle bars and it slip a little especially when you go uphill climbs.
