Recommend it for beginners / intermediate riders that are just looking for something cheaper in price to hit some trails on. Not recommended for extreme riding or really technical areas. Wouldn't catch me trying to ride it down a flight of stairs.
Pros This bike is great for the price. Obviously not for extreme mountain biking but it handles most trails and small obstructions just fine. Shifts easy. I've never had it miss a gear or trouble getting from one gear to the next. Disc brakes are very responsive.
Cons The seat has to be one of the most uncomfortable I've ever sat on. The one I have seems to be plagued with a sound coming out of the rear wheel somewhere that I just can't track down. It's not obnoxious loud, especially on the trails, but I'm anal when it comes to sounds that don't belong.
