Model/Year: 29/2.3

Pros: Grip, low rolling resistance, durable

Cons: Pick up a lot of rocks from trail.

Recommendation: Great tire for those who wants a good grip and low rolling resistance. I have this tire on both, front and rear, and don't think gonna look for something else in a nearest future.

Pros: works well

Cons: you have to rock the bike some to get good traction on climbs

Recommendation: good overall tire

Model/Year: 29x2.30

Pros: Rolls fast and corners well. Lightweight yet stout enough for burly rides.

Cons: Not great in the wet or on greasy climbs.

Recommendation: Run the Minion SS in the rear for best results.
