Model/Year: 2017

Pros: Excellent traction Hooks up well in corners

Cons: Transition to side knobs not seamless

Recommendation: This is a great tire with excellent traction which you can really feel in corners. However, the transition to the side knobs is not completely smooth. So I ride this in the rear paired with a DHF on the front.

Pros: Wow. It feels like a new bike coming from stock Bontrager tires. The grip has made me exponentially more confident in hairy sections, downhill, corners. Judicious Grip.

Cons: Heavy, not very fast on climbs.

Model/Year: 2016

Pros: Grip, Grip, Grip
Look Sweet

Cons: Weight
Rolling resistance

Recommendation: I run this on the front in front of a high roller on the back. Love hate relationship, coming from a small block 8 these are heavier and don't climb as easy because of it (hate) then point me down the hill and watch out because these things Rip! (love) they handle great and have no problems in loose stuff.

Model/Year: 2015 - 26x2.4 - MaxxPro 60a

Pros: Grips and corners like no tire I've ridden before. Threw it into some dusty corners on my ride today and was amazed by how firm it held the trail. The power and speed you can hold out of a corner is a vast improvement on what I was running before.

Cons: Nothing to report!

Recommendation: Buy it, and corner like you're on rails.

Model/Year: HR II 2014

Pros: Outer tread

Recommendation: Very noticeable, the ability to really lay into a corner and feel the outer tread hook up well. Like them better than ardent up front. I ride wet and tech terrain. I'd buy these again for sure!
