Maxxis Maxxis Minion DHR II EXO TR Tire 27.5

October 19, 2019

Model/Year: 2019

Pros: Great gripping. Makes turning and readjustment easier

Cons: Slightly heavier than what I was used. Did teach me to not break to try to maintain speed and momentum.

Recommendation: Would recommend

Model/Year: 2015

Pros: Sturdy, durable, quality tire. Ran it on the front and rear - prefer it on the front.

Cons: Not the grippiest tire I've owned. Washes out easier than the DHF and HRII

Recommendation: A nice round-edge tire for all mountain that really holds up well despite having tall-ish knobs. Really an any-condition tire for me.

Model/Year: Tubeless ready EXO protection

Pros: Surprisingly low rolling resistance for a knobby DH inspired tire. Grips all surfaces well and really shreds through the loose stuff. Well supported side knobs that dig in with minimal squirm. Sets up tubeless super easy have not had a flat or any burps.

Cons: Not the lightest nor the fastest tire.

Recommendation: Highly recommend this tire in the rear.
