Pros: Super Light FS
Responsive handling
Ride feel

Cons: Can be expensive even now 2nd hand for a good example

Recommendation: the most favorite bike I have had the pleasure of owning and riding regularly, great all rounder.... I know it was designed as an XC race machine, but hey you know what it does almost everything well. Climbs like a mountain goat, descends just fine on anything that's not WC grade DH, I have taken off of smaller drops (3-4ft), over jumps, on road, off road almost anywhere I can and this bike is just so much fun to ride. If you ever get the chance to get your hands on one of these frames then get ya wallet out, hell sell your wife if you have too just get one! :P

Pros: Super light – easily the lightest FS rig I've ridden. Climbed like a mountain goat with a motor up its ass.

Cons: Expensive and perhaps a little too light. Heavier full suspension bikes seem to hug the ground a little tighter, especially on washboard sections.

Recommendation: Buy it if you can afford it. This is a serious cross country bike with all the bells and whistles and if you trick it out with high end components you really can't get a better bike.
