Tour De Lanta is an urban single track mountain bike ride around Atlanta. The riders are intermediate / Advanced. The ride is usually held on weekdays and some odd weekends. The group meets at 'The Whelan" Midtown West and traverses 18 miles of "Beltline trails", "The Path" trails, "urban single track", off road, as well as roads and sidewalks when necessary. This ride will take us through most of the big name parks and popular regions in Atlanta including Piedmont Park, Little 5, Virginia Highlands, Atlantic station, Centennial park and West Midtown. We may stop for a snack or beverage towards the end. This is a fun and physically challenging ride not for the faint of heart. All riders are asked to buddy up for safety and have a ride pack with gear. A list will be provided in advance of the ride. Most of the bikers wear athletic gear with reflective vests for visibility, a helmet with lights, and a hydration gear pack.
