So i’m headed of to college in 17 days, and since i live 2 mins away from the school and it also has the trail i started riding on, i will be riding my bike to school everyday.
so my dilemma is that i need to carry my MacBook, back and forth to school on my bike. does anyone know of a good bag, that would be weather resistant, impact resistant and comfortable to ride with? price doesn’t matter.
it is a previous gen 13inch macbook, if that matters.

We have these backpacks issued to us at work. They are pretty nice. There is enough room to hold all my law enforcement gear and then some. Most importantly the backpack is comfortable. You can even buy accesories for the outside. However, I have never taken it with me when I hit the trails, but my buddy takes his and he does not seem to mind it.

Hope this helps.

the Wenger Swiss Gear notebook bags like the Synergy are real nice, they come with a bunch of space to carry books and what ever else you might need to go along with your laptop, you can pick one up at any best buy for about $90

That was going to be my next suggestion. Swiss Gear bags are really nice.

^^+1. I use a Maxxum Swiss Gear Notebook Backpack. I have been using it for four years and it works great.

You didn’t mention if your bike has or can have a pannier rack. I use a Cannondale Cypod for commuting to work with my laptop.
On the high end, Ergon makes fantastic packs:

http://www.dakine.com/sport-packs/bike/commuter/Both the Ergon and Dakine have water bladders, like a Camelbak.
And finally, as a Macbook owner, you should probably check out Crumpler, as that’s what Mac-owning, Starbucks-swilling hipsters use on their fixies… 😆

I’m no hipster 😎 if thats what youre implying, I’m actually a huge PC supporter, I build a new computer whenever I can. but my mother offered to buy a me a MacBook for school, i wasnt going to turn it down. 😄I really like both the Ergon, and the Dakine the ergon looks better but it also looks HUGE…wish i knew a place in my area that sold these bags…anyone know of any dealers in North Georgia?
