The best Memorial Day discounts for mountain bikers

These Memorial Day sales offer mountain bikers discounts up to 50% off on gear from Club Ride, Crankbrothers, Pearl Izumi, and other retailers.

Memorial Day weekend kicks off the travel summer season in the US, which makes it the perfect three-day weekend for mountain biking before it gets too hot. It’s also a great time to pick up the outdoor gear you need while it’s on sale!

A set of outdoor clothing items, including a short-sleeve plaid button-up shirt in orange and gray tones, a pair of gray cycling shorts with pink trim, and a pair of black outdoor shorts. Each item is designed for comfort and functionality.

Club Ride

Club Ride is offering “up to 50% off sitewide” and a quick check shows nearly everything is discounted, from shorts to the button-down jerseys the brand is known for. Our picks: Men’s Hifi shorts for $70 (30% off), plaid New West jerseys for $63 (30% off), and women’s Montcham “Endurance” chamois shorts for $52 (20% off).

Competitive Cyclist

Competitive Cyclist is also offering “up to 50% off” for Memorial Day, though plenty of items are still full-price. Many Garmin GPS watches, like the fenix 8, are 20% off or more, while this Fox Speedframe helmet is $163.99, marked down from $219.95.

Crankbrothers

Mountain bikers can save 20% on select items from Crankbrothers with coupon code MEM20 through May 28. We checked and sadly, the coupon doesn’t apply to the new Stamp Evo pedals but it does work for sale items like the M19 multi-tool (a favorite, $28 with coupon), new Plug Mate tire plug anchors (read our review), and top-of-the-line Eggbeater 11 titanium pedals (save $109.99!). Many shoes are on sale too.

Evo

Evo is having a Memorial Day Sale and — you guessed it! — they’re offering up to 50% off snow and summer gear. This purple Santa Cruz Hightower mountain bike is $1,000 off (now $3,999) and is available in sizes small through XL, while these Giro clipless shoes are just $53.99, down from $150.

Fenix Lighting

Fenix is offering 20% off everything with coupon code MDW20 this Memorial Day weekend. We like the Fenix BC26R which gets great battery life and delivers up to 1600 lumens. Not only can you save 20% off the BC26R, you’ll get a free rear light with it!

Pearl Izumi

The Pearl Izumi Memorial Day sale touts 25-75% savings, though exclusions apply. Now is the time to pick up a quality pair of bib shorts to wear under your baggies and fresh gloves for summer riding.

Performance Bike

Performance says their Memorial Day sale features items priced up to 70% off, though we didn’t find anything that cheap worth buying. However, you can save $50 off these Shimano pedals and these 29×2.5″ Schwalbe radial tires are 20% off. Also check out these POC sunglasses on sale.
