I don’t know about you, but I get excited about new mountain bike trails. A ton of work — often spanning years — goes into planning, approvals, fundraising, and sweat goes into creating a new trail, which makes every grand opening a day worth celebrating. Though it’s fun to read about trail openings around the world on Singletracks, there’s really nothing like attending one yourself and being among the first to ride fresh dirt!
